This past week we spent several days on the Mississippi coast. It was 4th of July and perfect weather. The boys got to experience the pool (larger than theirs bought from walmart), fishing in the ocean (much better than our lake here), and good times with some cousins, aunts and uncle and grandparents. Graham is now oficially needing swimming lessons and Ethan continutes to be his social self, ready to seize the day with a positive attitude. During our trip, my family stopped in and Gran and Aunt Deanie were able to celebrate the nice weather and beach with Graham and Ethan. It was so wonderful to have them down.
We all enjoyed the bonding and new experiences through our children's eyes. Graham has talked about his cousins non stop since we came home and continues to say he misses Mississippi. On our way out back home, we stopped in Baton Rouge to meet Ms. Sadie Smith, our friends Shelley & Shaun Smith's new baby girl. We also got treated like royalty at our friend Jenny and Lucas's house where Graham played with Sam & Stella, their kids, and we all got to enjoy lunch made by the wonderful cook, Jenny. It felt so good being with these ladies again and getting to see how we have all multiplied and one on the way. Can't wait for our next trip south!
